3rd Anniversary is Here!

This year the club celebrated its 3rd Anniversary on the 1st of May, so as now is tradition there is a celebratory seminar during the summer this year on Sunday the 3rd of July from 11am to 3pm. This year there is a theme for the whole event of “Groundfighting” and will cover a variety of finishing techniques that students can use as part of their arsenal. Also will cover a brief history of groundfighting and how exactly it relates to Karate and other arts. We will also cover a range of self defence situations where a basic knowledge of ground combat is vital.

The seminar will be taught by our own Daniel Pyatt, Sensei, and is open to students from all styles and systems of martial arts. No previous experience is necessary and the basics will be covered at the start. The cost of the course is £20 and will be held at the Hombu Dojo in Rugeley, Elm House, Wharf Road, Rugeley, Staffordshire, ST18 OQJ.
